Problems viewing MSDN Webcasts

I hear that some folks had problems viewing MSDN Webcasts lately, and I apologize for the inconvenience caused by this. We did turn registration on for all our on –demand webcasts starting in August. This was a bit confusing to folks as in the past we just pasted the live meeting access link directly into registration site. However, despite that even after some customers have registered for the on –demand webcast, they get “ms events is experiencing technical difficulties”. So far we think it’s part of users having a corrupt passport account issue. If you do have this problem, try these steps first:

1.) Clear your browser cache; and check your cookies settings. I’m told you do need a session cookie for registering for Microsoft events.

2.) Recreate a new passport account and try registering again for MSDN Webcasts.

I agree this is not ideal, but it may help you out in the interim while our support team tries to figure out the optimal soluton going forward. Let me know if you have other problems or questions with watching MSDN Webcasts. Happy to talk and help anyway I can.
