Cumulative Update package 1 for SQL Server 2008 released
This week Microsoft released Cumulative Update package 1 for SQL Server 2008 containing hotfixes for the Microsoft SQL Server 2008 issues that have been fixed since the release of SQL Server 2008. CU1 contains almost 80 fixes including fixes for intellisense, replication, and clustering. The download link for this hotfix can be found at the top of the following Knowledgebase article:

Note: This build of the cumulative update package is also known as build 10.00.1763.00.
This CU continues the SQL Server Sustained engineering groups use of the Incremental Service Model (ISM) for delivering updates. The objective for the ISM is to deliver high quality fixes in an acceptable time and on a predictable schedule. More information on the ISM can be found here:
