More Windows Azure & SharePoint 2010: See You at TechEd!

I’ve been writing a lot about how these two technologies intersect, and if you saw Scott’s keynote yesterday you heard him talk at a very high level about some of the new features that are shipping with the Spring Preview. For those that are attending TechEd NA next week, there are a couple of opportunities to learn more about the cloud and about how SharePoint and Windows Azure are evolving—and what this means for IT Pros and Developers.

For the Azure enthusiast…

For the more general Azure cloud enthusiast, we’re running a pre-conference seminar this Sunday. My team and I will be delivering a set of topics to address a number of different areas. More information is below, so if you’re attending TechEd make sure you try and stop by.

For the SharePoint and Azure enthusiast…

Also, I’ll be walking through a number of ways in which you can tie these two technologies together—with an eye towards some of the new Spring Preview features that Scott discussed in his keynote yesterday and other MS experts discussed in their digital chalk talks. Should be fun, as this marriage of technology just got even more interesting.

If you’re going to be at TechEd and are interesting in attending, then see you there. The session code is OSP334, the name of the session is “Why Microsoft SharePoint and Windows Azure are Just Plain Better Together,” and it’s scheduled for Wednesday, June 13th at 8:30AM-9:45AM. It’s a 300-level session that will have useful information for both developers and IT Pros.

Hope to see you there!
