Who you are?non-mug

Dan Hellem, Microsoft ADM in Premier Support SLGE Public Sector. I have been with Microsoft since December 2012. Before Microsoft I worked as IT Director with a mid-sized organization developing a science based .Net web applications used by many state and local Corrections Departments around the country.

What makes you “tick”?

In the world of software, I enjoy managing and improving the ALM process and helping customers adopt those processes and tools to help their organizations. Most of my Microsoft engagements are active with Team Foundation Server and Visual Studio 2012. I also enjoy prototyping and programming applications in C# in my spare time.

Where you live?

Traverse City, Michigan

Why are you active in the Rangers program?

I enjoy the art of software development and have always liked the Microsoft tools. Would like to be part of helping improve those tools with personal and customer feedback.

What is the best Rangers project you worked in and why?

Being new to the program, I have not yet worked on a Ranger project. However I do use many ALM Ranger materials on a regular basis as reference for my day-to-day ADM work.
