There is a logical disk free space custom MP on systemcentercetral.com. It solves some issues with the default logical disk free space in the base OS MP, where both % and MB thresholds have to be met before an alert is fired. The new custom MP relies on % and has some files you can use to fine tune alerting per server.

Here is a modified version of this custom MP, which makes the following changes:

 - Supports Windows Server 2003 and Windows Server 2008 as well

 - The new monitor is now added at the logical disk \ availability, instead of being added at the "entity" class

It's probably not bullet proof, as this was not in a quick and dirty way for a proof of concept, but if it can help :-)
