Released version 20190715

Introduction

Version 20190715 for Power Automate portal is now available in all regions. This article describes the updates, including the new features, and the fixes to existing functionality, which are included in this update. This version was first made available in preview on July 17, 2019, and completed worldwide rollout on July 26, 2019.

SharePoint connector enhancements

We have added several highly-request features to the SharePoint connector:

  • Work with folders – you can now directly create folders in a document library. Also, we support extracting .zip files into a folder (requested here).
  • Use check in / out – there are three new actions that can be used for working with document libraries that require check in / out: Check in, Check out and Discard check out (requested here)
  • Work with Permissions – you can grant access to an item or a folder in SharePoint to specific people, or, on the other hand, delete all links giving access to an item or a folder and remove all people with direct access except for owners (requested here).
  • Modern Document Sets – Document sets will show up in the file picker for the When a file is created in a folder and When a file is created or modified in a folder triggers. If you use For a selected file as a trigger for an instant flow, it will show in the Flow menu when you select a file inside the document set as well. The out-of-the-box flows — Request sign-off and Set a reminder — also work inside the document sets.

Fluent experience for the Flow portal

We have introduced several user experience updates in the last few months in the Microsoft Flow portal, which will make it easier for you to create, manage and run your flows. These experiences match the latest Fluent Design System — the same design system that's used across all Microsoft 365 and Dynamics 365 applications.

New create experiences

These new create experiences make it easy for you to start off your flow. You can find them under the +New option on the My flows tab.

For instance, if you want to create a Scheduled flow that runs only on weekdays – you can set it up as shown below

New flow details page

The new details page is cleaner and streamlined. It optimizes screen real estate, as well as provides more information on your flow.

New run flow experience

We have also updated the run flow experience. The new run flow experience  uses modern controls to collect inputs from users running your flow and allows you to quickly review connections and actions used in the flow for the added peace of mind.
