AAD groups - az ad group

Manage Azure Active Directory groups.

Commands

az ad group create Create a group in the directory.
az ad group delete Delete a group in the directory.
az ad group get-member-groups Gets a collection that contains the Object IDs of the groups of which the group is a member.
az ad group list List groups in the directory.
az ad group member Manage Azure Active Directory group members.
az ad group member add Add a memeber to a group.
az ad group member check Checks whether the specified user, group, contact, or service principal is a direct or a transitive member of the specified group.
az ad group member list Gets the members of a group.
az ad group member remove Remove a memeber from a group.
az ad group show Gets group information from the directory.

--mail-nickname

Required Parameters

--display-name

Object's display name or its prefix.

--mail-nickname

Mail nick name.

az ad group delete

az ad group delete --group

Required Parameters

--group -g

Group's object id or display name(prefix also works if there is a unique match).

az ad group get-member-groups

Gets a collection that contains the Object IDs of the groups of which the group is a member.

az ad group get-member-groups --group
[--security-enabled-only]

Required Parameters

--group -g

Group's object id or display name(prefix also works if there is a unique match).

Optional Parameters

--security-enabled-only

If true only membership in security enabled groups should be checked. Otherwise membership in all groups should be checked.

az ad group list

List groups in the directory.

az ad group list [--display-name]
[--filter]

Optional Parameters

--display-name

Object's display name or its prefix.

--filter

OData filter.

az ad group show

Gets group information from the directory.

az ad group show --group

Required Parameters

--group -g

Group's object id or display name(prefix also works if there is a unique match).
