/NXCOMPAT (Compatible with Data Execution Prevention)
Indicates that an executable is compatible with the Windows Data Execution Prevention feature.
By default, /NXCOMPAT is on.
/NXCOMPAT:NO can be used to explicitly specify an executable as incompatible with Data Execution Prevention.

To set this linker option in Visual Studio
Open the project Property Pages dialog box. For details, see Set C++ compiler and build properties in Visual Studio.
Choose the Configuration Properties > Linker > Command Line property page.
Enter the option in the Additional Options box. Choose OK or Apply to apply the change.
