Writes a UInt16 into a span of bytes, as little endian.

Parameters

destination
Span<Byte>

The span of bytes where the value is to be written, as little endian.

value
UInt16

The value to write into the span of bytes.

Exceptions

destination is too small to contain a UInt16.

Remarks

Writes exactly 2 bytes to the beginning of the span.
