IsolatedStorage.SeparatorInternal Property

Gets a period character that can be used in a directory string. When overridden in a derived class, another character might be returned.

 virtual property char SeparatorInternal { char get(); };
protected virtual char SeparatorInternal { get; }
member this.SeparatorInternal : char
Protected Overridable ReadOnly Property SeparatorInternal As Char

Property Value

The default implementation returns the '.' (period) character.

This property can be used to get a character that is used in a directory string.

Notes to Inheritors

When you inherit from IsolatedStorage, you can override SeparatorInternal and return a character other than the '.' to control the naming syntax of the store. In a Windows IsolatedStorageFile this separator is a '.'.
