View. On Item Deleted(DetailsViewDeletedEventArgs) Method
Raises the ItemDeleted event.
protected: virtual void OnItemDeleted(System::Web::UI::WebControls::DetailsViewDeletedEventArgs ^ e);
protected virtual void OnItemDeleted (System.Web.UI.WebControls.DetailsViewDeletedEventArgs e);
abstract member OnItemDeleted : System.Web.UI.WebControls.DetailsViewDeletedEventArgs -> unit override this.OnItemDeleted : System.Web.UI.WebControls.DetailsViewDeletedEventArgs -> unit
Protected Overridable Sub OnItemDeleted (e As DetailsViewDeletedEventArgs)
The OnItemDeleted method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.
Notes to Inheritors
When overriding OnItemDeleted(DetailsViewDeletedEventArgs) in a derived class, be sure to call the base class's OnItemDeleted(DetailsViewDeletedEventArgs) method so that registered delegates receive the event.
