When overridden in a derived class, moves to the first attribute.
public: abstract bool MoveToFirstAttribute();
public abstract bool MoveToFirstAttribute ();
abstract member MoveToFirstAttribute : unit -> bool
Public MustOverride Function MoveToFirstAttribute () As Boolean
true if an attribute exists (the reader moves to the first attribute); otherwise,
false (the position of the reader does not change).
An XmlReader method was called before a previous asynchronous operation finished. In this case, InvalidOperationException is thrown with the message "An asynchronous operation is already in progress."
The following example gets the value of the first attribute.
reader.ReadToFollowing("book"); reader.MoveToFirstAttribute(); string genre = reader.Value; Console.WriteLine("The genre value: " + genre);
reader.ReadToFollowing("book") reader.MoveToFirstAttribute() Dim genre As String = reader.Value Console.WriteLine("The genre value: " + genre)
