Microsoft Dynamics 365 - Service Update 21091 Release Notes


Service Update 21091 for Microsoft Dynamics 365 9.2.0 is now available. This article describes the hotfixes and updates that are included in Service Update 21091.

Important

Note: Service Update naming convention has been revised to clarify the link between the version number and Service Update number. For example, Service Update 150 will now correspond to version number 150xx. Occasionally a Service Update will be canceled and all associated fixes will be rolled into a subsequent Service Update. For this reason, Service Update numbers may not always increase incrementally.

Service Update 21091 resolves the following issues:

Repaired Functionality

The following list details issues whose resolutions repair items in Dynamics that are not functioning.

Accessibility

  • The NVDA screen reader did not announce when a list card was expanded or collapsed in the Customer Service Hub.*
  • The checkboxes within the Audit History within the Accounts section of the Customer Service Hub app did not have unique names for screen readers.
  • The field color to background color contrast ratio of the Table properties page within the email editor did not meet accessibility standards (greater or equal to 3:1).
  • In the Customer Service Hub, when zoom settings were set to 200%, the cases list was not visible.
  • The NVDA screen reader did not announce the purpose of the “Document on default site” link within the Customer Service Hub.*

Platform Services

  • User owned entities could not be deleted by uninstalling a solution or an active customization.*
  • When adding an App to a solution with an unpublished App element, the unpublished App element was exported.*

Solutions

  • When using the copy and paste or drag and drop mouse pointer methods to add an image to a knowledge article, the height and width of the image was compressed.

Unified Interface

  • System settings dialog did not close when pressing the close or OK button, preventing changes from being made to system settings.
  • The member view under Segment had not displayed correctly.*
  • When creating a view or modify an existing view with a "createdby" field, the view could not be filtered based on the "createdby" form field data.*
  • Booking records were unresponsive when attempting to mark a service task or service as complete within the Service tab, on mobile devices.*
  • Text entered into an editable grid on an account grid was duplicated until saved.*
  • Images pasted or dragged and dropped into Rich Text Editor did not respect max file size configuration.
  • The offline status displayed as “Not Available” following a metadata sync restart.
  • In relevance search, images assigned to contact records were not displayed in the suggestion flyout.
  • System settings dialog did not close when pressing the close or OK button, preventing changes from being made to system settings.*
  • After performing a search in the Timeline, focus could not be replied to the search field, preventing editing of the field.
  • The number of selected conversations in the Omnichannel Ongoing Conversations Dashboard would not update correctly after unselecting all records, if a record was in an Active state.
  • When selecting Segment Templates within a Marketing solution, the thumbnail icons did not load.
  • Grid view in the Sales Hub had overlapping rows.*
  • When using the copy and paste or drag and drop mouse pointer methods to add an image to a knowledge article, the height and width of the image was compressed.*
  • Attachment field controls within an environment, located in a separate tab, appeared disabled until a page scroll occurred.
  • When adding an image to a contact record and performing a Global Search, the image was replaced by an "N/A" label in the Global Search flyout.

Error Messages, Exceptions, and Failures

The following list details issues whose resolutions correct actions that produce errors, unhandled exceptions, or system or component failures.

Sales

  • An error occurred when creating a business process flow in regard to a contact entity.*
  • An error occurred when creating a Lead record and selecting the associated Activity grid in the Related tab.*

Unified Interface

  • An exception occurred when replying to a comment within an App Module.*
  • An error occurred when deleting an active layer on a Business Process Flow.
  • An error occurred when navigating to the previous stage in a multi-stage custom Business Process Flow.
  • An error occurred when removing active customizations on a Business Process Flow that contained labels with an unmanaged layer.
  • An error occurred when performing bulk edit operations.*
  • An error occurred in the Field Service Mobile app while in offline mode for quick view forms on version 1.4.3159-2108.4 and above.*
