Power BI content for Microsoft Dynamics AX

If you're using Microsoft Dynamics AX 7.0 or Microsoft Dynamics AX 7.0.1, the following Power BI content is available:

Accessing the content

This Power BI content is available from PowerBI.com.

  1. Sign in to PowerBI.com.
  2. Click Get Data.
  3. In the Services box, click Get.
  4. Select the content pack that you want, and then click Get.
  5. Enter the URL of your Dynamics AX environment. The URL must be in the format https://<YourAOSTenant>.cloudax.dynamics.com. Click Next.
  6. Select oAuth2 as the authentication method, and then click Sign in.
  7. When you're prompted, enter a Microsoft Office 365 account that has permission to access your Microsoft Dynamics AX environment.
  8. After you've signed in, the import process begins automatically. When the import is completed, the reports that are included in the content pack appear in the navigation pane. Select a report to view your imported data.
