Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Feature Pack, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012

Click Project management and accounting > Common > Projects > All projects. Select or open a Fixed-price or Investment project that is attached to an Estimate project. On the Action Pane, on the Manage tab, in the Process group, click Estimates. In the Estimate form, select an estimate line, and then click Edit.

Use this form to maintain the expected costs for the current period on individual cost lines. Costs are entered on the cost line, and the cost lines that are displayed in this form are defined on the cost estimate.

Amounts or quantities that are posted to the project are displayed, depending on your selection in the Unit field in the Control types form.
