Description

Reason for deprecation

The X++ editor had limited capabilities and was deprecated to make way for a new implementation of the X++ editor that has new features.

Replaced by another feature

Yes. The feature has been deprecated, and a new X++ editor has been introduced that is based on the Visual Studio 2010 editor control. Although the editor script extension is still supported, extensions to the legacy editor UI are no longer supported.
