(IND) Update certificate numbers and dates for withholding tax transactions

Use the Update certificate form to update the recoverable certificate numbers and dates for withholding tax transactions.

Note

You can only update information for recoverable certificates that are not marked as closed in the Recoverable certificates form.

  1. Click General ledger > Periodic > India withholding tax > Update certificate.

  2. Select the withholding tax type to update a recoverable certificate for.

  3. Select the certificate number to update. Additional information about the recoverable certificate is displayed at the top of the form, such as account type and certificate date.

  4. Enter the starting and ending dates for the period to review withholding tax transactions for.

  5. Click Show data to display the withholding tax transactions that were posted during the period that you entered in the previous step.

  6. In the upper pane, identify the transactions to associate with the recoverable certificate that you selected in step 3 and include the transactions in the lower pane.

    Click Include to move a specific transaction from upper pane to the lower pane. Click Include all to move all transactions from the upper pane to the lower pane.

  7. Click Update to update each transaction that you included in the lower pane with the recoverable certificate information for the recoverable certificate that you selected in step 3.
