Employment history (form)

Click Human resources > Common > Workers > Workers. Select a worker. On the Action pane, in the Versions group, select Employment history.

Use this form to view or maintain the employment history of a worker.

Add or modify an employment affiliation

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

Buttons

Button

Description

New

Create an employment affiliation for a worker. For more information, see About employment affiliations.

Edit

Modify the selected employment information for the worker.

End

End the selected employment affiliation.

Note

Only the selected employment affiliation ends. For information about how to end a worker’s employment with your company, see Terminate employment.

Employment date manager

Open the Employment date manager form, where you can update date effective records for the worker. For more information about date effective records, see Maintain records.

Pay

Open a menu that contains the following items:

  • Wage lines – Open the Wage lines form, where you can enter information about the worker’s salary.

  • Base payroll – Open the Base payroll form, where you can set up the basic elements of the worker’s salary.

  • Bonuses – Open the Bonus form, where you can maintain the bonuses that are awarded to the worker.

Benefits and deductions

Open a menu that contains the following items:

  • Salary deductions – Open the Salary deduction form, where you can set up salary deductions for the worker.

  • Insurance information – Open the Insurance form, where you can enter insurance information for the worker.

  • Options – Open the Options form, where you can enter information about stock option grants for the worker.

  • Retirement – Open the Retirement form, where you can maintain retirement information for the worker.

Employment

Open a menu that contains the following items:

  • Leave – Open the Leave form, where you can maintain information about leaves of absence for the worker.

  • Terms of employment – Open the Worker employment term form, where you can maintain the terms of employment for the worker.

  • I-9 – Open the I-9 document form, where you can update information for the worker’s I-9 document.

Description

Company

The company that the worker is employed in.

Worker type

Select whether the worker is an employee or a contractor.

Employment start date

The first date of the worker’s employment in the company.

Employment end date

The last date of the worker’s employment in the company.
