Label Intervals Form

Use this form to reserve a set of label IDs to use with a particular label file.

Select the label file you want to reserve IDs for, and then set the range of IDs on the General area.

If you use version control, the label intervals are defined in the version control settings.

Description

Label file ID

Select the label file you want to create new labels in. Label files are named by using the following syntax: AxLAYERlanguage.ald, for example, AxSYSEn-us.ald. You can create a new label file using the Label file Wizard. After the file name is created, it will be available.

Interval status

The following three statuses for a Label ID number are available:

  • Available Label ID number - Interval is not full.

  • No Available Label ID number - Interval has been filled with ID numbers.

  • Released - Interval has been released and should not be changed.

From

The first label ID number in the interval.

To

The last label ID number in the interval.

Last label number

The last used label number in the interval. Whenever a new label is created, the last label number is incremented by 1.
