New project contract (form)
Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Feature Pack, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012
Click Project management and accounting > Common > Projects > Project contracts. On the Action Pane, on the Project contract tab, in the New group, click Project contract.
Use this form to create a new project contract.

Field |
Description |

Project contract ID |
Enter a number to identify the project contract. If you have enabled automatic number sequences for project contracts, the field will be automatically populated and read-only. |
Name |
Enter a name to identify the project contract. |
Funding type |
Select the type of source that will provide funding: Customer, Organization, or Grant. –or– If your organization is converting from a split billing practice to the multiple funding source capability of Microsoft Dynamics AX, you can select On hold. In the Funding source field, select the account that has been designated as your overage account. |
Funding source |
Select the funding source that will provide funding for costs that are associated with this project contract. Note In the Project contracts form, you can assign more funding sources if project costs will be shared among multiple customers, organizations, or grants. |
Sales currency |
Select a currency code for the project contract. This currency is used as the sales price currency for all projects that are attached to the project contract that you are creating. The sales currency is applied when hours, expenses, or fees are posted to a journal and when sales orders and on-account transactions are registered. |
