Get the properties and relationships of an application object.

Permissions

One of the following permissions is required to call this API. To learn more, including how to choose permissions, see Permissions.

HTTP request

Replace {id} with the id for the application object, also referred to as the Object ID in the Azure portal.

GET /applications/{id}

Optional query parameters

This method supports the $select OData query parameter to retrieve specific application properties.

By default, this API doesn't return the value of the key thumbprint in the keyCredentials property unless keyCredentials is specified in a $select query. For example, $select=id,appId,keyCredentials.

The use of $select to get keyCredentials for applications has a throttling limit of 150 requests per minute for every tenant.

Response

If successful, this method returns a 200 OK response code and an application object in the response body.
