List apps in chat

List all app installations within a chat.

Note: If the chat is associated with an onlineMeeting instance, then, effectively, the teamsApps installed in the meeting will be listed.

Note

The id of a teamsAppInstallation resource is not the same value as the id of the associated teamsApp resource.

Permissions

One of the following permissions is required to call this API. To learn more, including how to choose permissions, see Permissions.

Delegated (personal Microsoft account) Not supported.
Application TeamsAppInstallation.Read.Chat*, Chat.Manage.Chat*, TeamsAppInstallation.ReadForChat.All, TeamsAppInstallation.ReadWriteSelfForChat.All, TeamsAppInstallation.ReadWriteForChat.All

GET /chats/{chat-id}/installedApps

Optional query parameters

This method supports the $filter, $select, and $expand OData query parameters to help customize the response.

Request headers

Header Value
Authorization Bearer {token}. Required.

Request body

Do not supply a request body for this method.

Response

If successful, this method returns a 200 OK response code and a collection of teamsAppInstallation objects in the response body.

Example 2: Get the names and other details of apps installed in the specified chat

In the following example, if an instance of an installed app has a bot associated with it, then the details of the bot are returned as well.
