Update the properties of an itemPublication object in a user's profile.

Permissions

Choose the permission or permissions marked as least privileged for this API. Use a higher privileged permission or permissions only if your app requires it. Request body

In the request body, supply the values for relevant fields that should be updated. Existing properties that are not included in the request body will maintain their previous values or be recalculated based on changes to other property values. For best performance, don't include existing values that haven't changed.

Property	Type	Description
allowedAudiences	String	The audiences that are able to see the values contained within the entity. Inherited from itemFacet. Possible values are: me, family, contacts, groupMembers, organization, federatedOrganizations, everyone, unknownFutureValue.
description	String	Description of the publication.
displayName	String	Title of the publication.
inference	inferenceData	Contains inference detail if the entity is inferred by the creating or modifying application. Inherited from itemFacet.
publishedDate	Date	The date that the publication was published.
publisher	String	Publication or Publisher for the publication.
source	personDataSource	Where the values originated if synced from another service. Inherited from itemFacet.
thumbnailUrl	String	URL referencing a thumbnail of the publication.
webUrl	String	URL referencing the publication.

Response

If successful, this method returns a 200 OK response code and an updated itemPublication object in the response body.
