One of the following permissions is required to call this API. To learn more, including how to choose permissions, see Permissions.

Delegated (work or school account) User.Read.All, User.ReadWrite.All
Delegated (personal Microsoft account) Not supported.
Application User.Read.All,User.ReadWrite.All

HTTP request

GET /me/settings/

Request with a 'user id' or 'userPrincipalName' is only accessible by the user or by a user with the User.ReadWrite.All permissions. To learn more, see Permissions.

GET /users/{id | userPrincipalName}/settings/

Request body

Do not supply a request body for this method.


If successful, this method returns a 200 OK response code and userSettings object in the response body.
