Build UWP apps with Microsoft Graph

This tutorial teaches you how to build a Universal Windows Platform (UWP) app that uses the Microsoft Graph API to retrieve calendar information for a user.

Before you start this tutorial, you should have Visual Studio installed on a computer running Windows 10 with Developer mode turned on. If you do not have Visual Studio, visit the previous link for download options.

You should also have either a personal Microsoft account with a mailbox on, or a Microsoft work or school account. If you don't have a Microsoft account, there are a couple of options to get a free account:


This tutorial was written with Visual Studio 2019 version 16.5.0. The steps in this guide may work with other versions, but that has not been tested.
