Certification for students

You may be eligible to receive college credit through Excelsior College, a regionally accredited institution. The National College Credit Recommendation Service (NCCRS) has establish credit recommendations for the following Microsoft Certification exams:

AZ-103: Microsoft Azure Administrator

AZ-200: Microsoft Azure Developer Core Solutions

AZ-201: Microsoft Azure Developer Advanced Solutions

AZ-203: Developing Solutions for Microsoft Azure

AZ-300: Microsoft Azure Architect Technologies

AZ-301: Microsoft Azure Architect Design

AZ-400: Designing and Implementing Microsoft DevOps Solutions

Process for Requesting Credit

To request credit, do the following:

Step 1: Complete the application and email it to Excelsior with the verification of your credential (options are provided below). Do NOT send the application or email to Microsoft.

Verification of Certification Option 1 - Share a Badge:

Verification of Certification Option 2 – Share a Transcript:

  • Step 2: Sign in on your Microsoft Certification Dashboard

  • Step 3: Go to Transcript section and select ‘Share or download’

  • Step 4: Select ‘Share’ Option; Enter a personal access code and turn on ‘Include Address Details’; Select ‘Share’

  • Step 5: Copy and paste the following information provided on the site:

    • Transcript ID
    • Access Code
    • Transcript Viewing Page:
  • Step 6: Paste the information in an email and send to
