Run Azure for SAP workloads
This learning path augments existing knowledge around the deployment methodologies for SAP workloads in Azure, focusing on Azure Marketplace and custom images using the Azure portal, Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, and Azure PowerShell cmdlets.
Prerequisites
Before taking this course, you should take the Azure Administrator (AZ-103) or Azure Solutions Architect (AZ-300) exam, and SAP HANA or NetWeaver training.
Modules in this learning path
This module examines the deployment methodologies of SAP workloads for Azure. You will review how to deploy Azure Marketplace and custom images using the Azure portal, Azure Resource Manager(ARM) templates, and Azure PowerShell cmdlets.
You will see the difference between one-step and two-step migration. Also, you will learn how the Software Update Manager (SUM) tool can be used to create shadow repositories and target databases.
You will review connection to Azure VMs running SAP workloads using public endpoints on a Jumpbox, VPN, or Azure ExpressRoute. You will also see how to back up Azure VMs using or more Azure VMs.
