These terms are an agreement between Microsoft Corporation (or based on where you live, one of its affiliates) and you. They apply to the above.

  1. PURPOSE. You may activate your Xbox One retail console as a console to test development of applications for the Xbox One (a "Devkit") including demonstrating your applications.

  2. DEVICE LIMITATION. Your use for the Purpose stated above is limited to three Xbox One consoles at any one time for yourself (as an individual) or for your company (including any affiliates).

  3. REQUIRED XBOX ONE UPDATES. By activating your Xbox One console as a Devkit, you also agree to receive, access, and use Xbox One updates that may not be available to non-Devkit consoles. When you do, you'll be receiving, accessing, and using software that could temporarily cause you to experience diminished or lost functionality on your Xbox One console.

  4. FEEDBACK. If you give feedback to Microsoft, you give to Microsoft, without charge, the right to use, share and commercialize your feedback in any way and for any purpose. You will not give feedback that is subject to a license that requires Microsoft to license its software or documentation to third parties because we include your feedback in them. These rights survive this agreement.

  5. You may not:

  • distribute a digital store front that competes with the Microsoft Store.
  • use in a way that Microsoft may later designate is prohibited, without prior notice to you.
