DEFAULTEVENT Function

Performs the default event associated with the object.

DEFAULTEVENT( )

Remarks

The following table lists the default event associated with several objects.

Object	Default event
Shape	Edit text.
Group	Do nothing.
OLE	Do primary verb.
Other	Do nothing.

In earlier versions of Visio, this function appears as _DEFAULTEVENT and the default event for a group is to open a group window.
