2.2.2.1 ContentExpiryDate

The ContentExpiryDate element is a required child element of the RightsManagementLicense element (section 2.2.2.14). It specifies the expiration date for the license. The ContentExpiryDate element is set to "9999-12-30T23:59:59.999Z" if the rights management license has no expiration date set. The client MUST purge the body and attachments of the e-mail message when the ContentExpiryDate has passed. The client can then use the ItemOperations command ([MS-ASCMD] section 2.2.1.10) to fetch the content again from the server. If the rights management license allows it, the content can be provided once more with a new ContentExpiryDate.

The value of this element is a dateTime ([MS-ASDTYPE] section 2.3).

The ContentExpiryDate element has no child elements.
