2.2.1 LCP Configuration Option: Callback Option
The Callback configuration option used in the LCP is specified in [RFC1570] section 2.3. The operation field 0x06 is defined for negotiating this protocol. The following is the format of the option.

Type (1 byte): This MUST be 0x0D.
Length (1 byte): This MUST specify the length of the option, including the Type, Length, Operation, and Message fields. Hence this MUST be at least 0x03 bytes.
Operation (1 byte): This MUST be 0x06.
Message (variable): This field SHOULD NOT be present. If present, the contents of this field MUST be ignored.
