2.2.1.2.2 Registry Path and Access Protocol of the Registry Key Values

Both the registry path of a registry key with supported registry key values and the protocol used to access the registry key vary, depending on the version of the registry protocol. The following sections specify the registry path of each registry key with supported registry key values and which protocol is used to access the registry key in each version of the registry protocol. The registry keys that use the Windows Remote Registry Protocol in the following sections are non-volatile keys, as specified in [MS-RRP] section 3.1.1.2. Note that, if the registry server is on a 64-bit system, the MSDTC Connection Manager: OleTx Management Protocol SHOULD use the 32-bit keys, as specified in [MS-RRP] section 3.1.1.4. None of the registry keys are symbolic.

The <ResID> token in the registry path represents a cluster resource ID. The <DPGuid> token in the registry path represents the string value of the "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Cluster\Resources\<ResID>\DataPointer\(Default)" registry key value.
