2.2.4 Service Names Used with the Service Control Manager Remote Protocol Transport
The Service Name (as specified in [MS-SCMR]) used for service control operations MUST be either:
"MSDTC"; or
Of the form "MSDTC$<GUID>", where <GUID> represents the GUIDString (as specified in [MS-DTYP] section 2.3.4.3).<5>
