2.2.6 MTAG_PING
The MTAG_PING message is used by a protocol participant to determine if it can still contact the transports protocol session partner as specified in [MS-CMPO]. For more information about the message processing event, see section 3.1.5.4.

MsgHeader (24 bytes): This field contains a MESSAGE_PACKET structure (section 2.2.2). The fields MUST be set as specified in section 2.2.2. In particular:
The MsgTag field MUST be set to 0x00000004 (MTAG_PING).
The fIsMaster field MUST be set to 0x00000001.
The dwConnectionId field MUST be set to 0x00000000.
The dwcbVarLenData field MUST be set to 0x00000000.
