1.3.2 Wireless/Wired Group Policy Client-Side Plug-in

When certain client-side events (for example, client restart) take place, the client-side plug-in fetches the Wireless/Wired Group Policy Protocol data from the generic data store using LDAP search functionality. Details on client-side events relevant to Group Policy are specified in [MS-GPOL] section 3.2.4.

The following illustration shows the process of obtaining the configuration data. Logical Client refers to the client; Server refers to the generic data store.
