P2P Grouping is a security layer on top of P2P Graphing, using the P2P Graphing AUTH_INFO message (see [MS-PPGRH] section 2.2.2.1) as a transport. The Group Connect subprotocol relies on TLS to create secure connections, using each node's IDC as its credential. The Group Connect subprotocol also adds messages following the end of a TLS negotiation.
P2P Grouping also uses PNRP for publication and discovery of nodes.
