3.2.4.1 Connecting to a Group

This event is triggered by a higher-layer application request to connect to an existing group, as specified in section 3.1.4.3. P2P Grouping implementation MUST have already discovered one or more Group participants, and selected one peer to connect to, as specified in section 3.1.4.3. The Group Connect sub-protocol implementation MUST initiate the TLS negotiation [RFC4346] with the chosen peer. If the TLS negotiation fails, this instance of the Group Connect subprotocol MUST be terminated. The Grouping protocol implementation MUST terminate the TLS connection and notify the higher-layer application of the failure.
