2.2 Common Data Types

This protocol MUST indicate to the remote procedure call (RPC) runtime that it is to support the NDR transfer syntax only, as specified in Part 4 of [C706].

In addition to RPC base types and definitions specified in [C706] and [MS-RPCE], additional data types are defined in this section.

This protocol references commonly used data types as defined in [MS-DTYP].

Unless otherwise qualified, instances of GUID refer to [MS-DTYP] section 2.3.4.
