Business value

Improvements related to data transformation in Power Query will provide users with a more fluid and performant experience.

Feature details

To enhance the experience, Power Query will have the following improvements related to data transformation:

  • Improved performance of tabular previews
  • Column profiling data won't be recomputed for steps where it's already been computed
  • The detail view won't recompute the value when selecting a cell
  • Additional performance improvements across the product
