Power BI Report Server provides customers with the flexibility to deploy reporting on-premises, which is necessary for customers who are unable to use the cloud service due to compliance or policy reasons. While the Power BI Report Server isn’t a substitute for the breadth of capabilities in the Power BI service, we continue to enhance Power BI Report Server based on customer feedback. In this release, we'll continue to bring more of the Power BI Desktop reporting capabilities to Power BI Report Server. These include reporting, modeling, and analytics capabilities of Power BI reports.
