Business value
Users need to be able to restrict who can see goals and who can do check-ins. For example, there may be goals that should only be seen by the leadership team, or goals that contain sensitive information that should only be seen by certain individuals. Goal permissions provide more flexibility for defining and enforcing access.
Feature details
Users can set granular permissions for goals. These permissions include:
- View permissions: Who can see a goal
- Check-in permissions: Who can do a check-in
- More granular check-in permissions: Who can change the value, update the status, and add a note
Check-in permissions don't require edit permissions to the scorecard; therefore, users with check-in permissions for a goal don't also need a Power BI Pro license for scorecards in a Premium capacity workspace.
