New-AzureRmSqlDatabase

Creates a database or an elastic database.

Warning

The AzureRM PowerShell module has been officially deprecated as of February 29, 2024. Users are advised to migrate from AzureRM to the Az PowerShell module to ensure continued support and updates.

Description

The New-AzureRmSqlDatabase cmdlet creates an Azure SQL database. You can also create an elastic database by setting the ElasticPoolName parameter to an existing elastic pool.
