Remove-SCStorageVolume

Deletes an existing Storage Volume.

Description

The Remove-SCStorageVolume cmdlet deletes an existing Storage Volume using the Virtual Machine Manager Server.

Examples

Example 1: Remove a Storage Volume

PS C:\> $volume = Get-SCStorageVolume -Name "vol1" 
PS C:\> Remove-SCStorageVolume -StorageVolume $volume

The first command gets the volume object named vol1, and then stores that object in the $volume variable. The second command removes the volume stored in $Volume.
