DestroyPhysicalMonitor Function

Closes an open monitor handle. Call this function to close a monitor handle obtained from the GetPhysicalMonitorsFromHMONITOR or GetPhysicalMonitorsFromIDirect3DDevice9 function.

Syntax

  BOOL DestroyPhysicalMonitor(
  HANDLE
    hMonitor

  );

Parameters

hMonitor

[in]  Handle to a physical monitor.

Return Value

If the function succeeds, the return value is TRUE. If the function fails, the return value is FALSE. To get extended error information, call GetLastError.

Client: Requires Windows Vista.

Header: Include PhysicalMonitorEnumerationAPI.h.

Library: Use dxva2.lib.
