The BodyInk property gets or sets a binary representation of the Contact body.

Return Values

This method returns the standard values E_INVALIDARG, E_OUTOFMEMORY, E_UNEXPECTED, and E_FAIL, as well as the following:

  • S_OK
    The method completed successfully.


The Note part of a PIM item can contain plain ASCII text, text with formatting, or handwriting information in binary format. The Body property gets and sets the ASCII text version of the Note information, and the BodyInk property gets and sets the binary form of the same information.
