Build Lab Support Team Foundation Server Build provides and end-to-end build lab solution, including the ability to synchronize source, compile the application, run automated tests, carry out code analysis, drop builds to a file server, and publish build reports. This enables teams to create a build strategy that is highly automated and features tight collaboration between team members. Team Foundation Server builds are flexible and customizable. A team can create a custom build type that includes automated testing and code analysis and automatically drops the build to a file server. The build process can also be extended to include additional functionality if required. For example, a build task could be written that sends an instant message when a build is dropped.
