The following table shows the command bands functions, with a description of the purpose of each.

Programming element Description

CommandBands_AddAdornments

This function adds the Close button (X) to the upper right corner of the command bands control.

CommandBands_AddBands

This function adds one or more bands to the command bands control.

CommandBands_Create

This function instantiates a new command bands control.

CommandBands_GetCommandBar

This function retrieves the handle to a command bar child control in a band of the command bands control.

CommandBands_GetRestoreInformation

This function retrieves information necessary to restore a band's current state, and places it in a COMMANDBANDSRESTOREINFO structure.

CommandBands_Show

This function shows or hides the command bands control.
