Start-CacheHost

Starts the Caching Service on the specified cache host. If no cache hosts are up in the cache cluster, use the Start-CacheCluster command instead.

Syntax

Start-CacheHost [-HostName] <String> [-CachePort] <Int32> [[-HostTimeout] <Int32> ] [ <CommonParameters>]

Detailed Description

This command is able to start the Caching Service on a specific cache host. It should be used in a cache cluster that is currently running. If the cache cluster is down, use the Start-CacheCluster command instead. To determine whether any other cache hosts are up in the cluster, use the Get-CacheHost command without any parameters.
