With the Developing and Stabilizing Phases complete, the DCM solution is ready for deployment to monitor the BDD 2007 deployment servers and deployed client computers. Figure 6 shows how the Deploying Phase fits into the entire process.

Roles and Responsibilities

In addition to the tasks defined in the following process description, take note of the responsibilities that are allocated to the role clusters. Table 15 defines these focus areas for the different role clusters during the Deploying Phase.

Deploying the Infrastructure

Deployment of the DCM server components should be done in parallel with the deployment of the BDD 2007 deployment servers, as described in the Deployment Feature Team Guide. Milestone: DCM Solution Deployed

Milestones are synchronization points for the overall solution. For more information, see the Plan, Build, and Deploy Guide.

At this milestone, shown in Table 16, the DCM solution is in place and ready to monitor the BDD 2007 deployment servers and deployed client computers.
