Installing and Uninstalling Global Resources

You use the Microsoft Commerce Server 2002 Setup program to install and uninstall Predictor and Direct Mailer, two of the global resources in Commerce Server. Other global resources are created during the unpacking process.

After you install Predictor and Direct Mailer, you must unpack these resources in order for a site to use them. When you unpack an application, you set the global resource pointers for the site to Predictor and Direct Mailer. For instructions about adding and deleting global resource pointers from a site, see Adding a Global Resource Pointer to a Site and Deleting a Resource from a Site.

For more information about installing and deploying Predictor and Direct Mailer, see Deploying Your Site.
